| The Nia (Swahili word for purpose) Youth Ministry of Ebenezer is an exciting and essential component of our congregation. The youth ministry addresses in enriching the spiritual life of our young people in the congregation and in the community. The youth ministry hosts outreach events as well as participation in local, regional and national youth gatherings.
Our youth activities include:
- Sunday School Classes for ages 4-18
- Girl Scouts
- Boy Scouts
- Angels of Praise Choir (Ages 4-12)
- R.O.C. Choir (Radical Outspoken Christians) (Ages 13-18)
- Jr. Ushers
- Judah Tribe Steppers
- Nu Kemet Movement Mentoring Program
- EBC Summer Camp

- Hallelujah/Harvest Festival

- Youth Explosion

- African American History Events
- Kwanzaa Celebration
Our youth ministry continues to explore other avenues of service and church participation. We seek to encourage, nurture and develop the spirits and minds of our young people. It is our focus to create an atmosphere where our young people are able to thrive and believe that all things are possible through Christ that gives them strength.
